STRUGGLE TO DEFINE A WORKING STRUCTURE FOR THE CLUB LEADING TO VARIOUS BROKEN DOWN WORKING AGREEMENTS ON HOW TO SELECT EXECUTIVE FOR THE CLUB.
The Abeokuta Golf Club started full golfing activities and had its yearly Annual General meetings at which new Officers were elected for the Club. The table above shows the names of the Officers who were so elected.
Crisis started after a Caretaker Committee headed by Apagun Olumide, overstayed its mandate of six months by over eighteen months and then started the attempt to change the name of the Club to Abeokuta Golf Internation Limited.
